If you are looking to give your children a luxury lifestyle in one of the best school districts in America you should consider moving them to University Park in Dallas, Texas. This area is home to some of the most luxurious homes in Texas and has some of the best public and private schools in the country. The neighborhood, which is about 4 square miles, has a unique history.

In 1915, the Southern Methodist University was founded and the cluster of buildings around it was built to support employees of the school. By 1924, the cluster of buildings had grown steadily and the university could no longer afford to supply its utilities. Its citizens did not want to lose the sense of community that they had built by being incorporated into Dallas so they voted that University Park become a city in itself.

There are plenty of high end homes that you can buy in the area. Most of them were built in the 1930's but if you don't prefer to live in colonial style mansions, there are a number of new homes that you can choose from. If you can afford it, luxury homes there have a price tag starting at $10 million. They have multiple bathrooms and bedrooms and you will enjoy all the luxuries that come with a luxury property. All you need to do is give your University Park real estate agent your requirements and he will find a home for you.

Although the city is just 5 miles from downtown Dallas, it has retained the sense of community that it had 100 years ago. You will enjoy the serenity, luxury and security of a small, wealthy community and because the drive into Dallas is a short one, you can go there as often as you want. Recreation and shopping can be found at Plaza at Preston Center or Northpark Center both of which have high-end boutiques as well as excellent restaurants.

We mentioned that University Park is one of the top school districts in America. In fact, more than 75% of the 22,000 residents of this city have a college degree. Many residents go from kindergarten to doctorate level without leaving to seek education elsewhere. There are excellent elementary and high schools and your child can join Southern Methodist University. Moving to University Park almost guarantees that your child will get into university - the town boasts its diligence when it comes to education.
